The 35-year-old actress explained in a new interview that she’s actually a pansexual. She also opened up about why she found it hard to come to terms with her sexuality.
Actress Julia Fox has clarified that she is pansexual – after coming out as a lesbian last year.
The actress claimed that she likes women back in July, following her whirlwind romance with Kanye West. She made the announcement following a viral TikTok video by comedian Gracin on the platform. In the clip, Gracin said: “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.'”
Julia responded to the clip by saying: “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Um, won’t happen again.”. Earlier this week, Julia made another bombshell revelation earlier this week, saying she regretted having some of her plastic surgery procedures and said she only went under the knife to appeal to men.
The 35-year-old a mom-of-one has now explained in a new interview with Allure she’s actually a pansexual. Julia explained, “I’m pansexual; I could be attracted to anyone and anything.
If it were just down to the physical, I’m more attracted to the female body. Men don’t do it for me at all [physically], but I can be attracted to a man’s mind. I’m a vibes person.
She also explained that it wasn’t easy for her to decide she was pansexual because she reckons “women have a harder time” realizing theyre queer because they are “programmed to perform for men. She said the signs about her sexuality were always there “throughout her life”, as she consistently found herself being pals with psycho codependent besties fueled by possessiveness.”
She added, Looking back, I’m like, Oh my God, we were in a relationship. But there was no way I was going to admit that to myself, and I couldn’t because so much of my survival was hinged upon men taking care of me.
Last year, Julia revealed that shed stopped having sexual and romantic relationships with men more than two years before that.. She has recently donned bold, experimental, and often boundary-pushing fashion choices. And she thinks steering clear of men, alongside motherhood, has fuelled her newfound freedom in fashion and beauty. She said, I don’t have to entertain men anymore.
After Julia made the remark about her being a lesbian on TikTok, she later clarified to The Times that she thought she might be a lesbian and that shed be up for a relationship with a woman. Julia told Variety since then she has definitely had crushes and did some stuff [with women], but it’s never gotten to full relationship status.
In a previous interview with Variety, Julia opened up about her struggles with self-confidence in the past, saying: “I always had people telling me that I could do so much more and I didn’t have that same level of confidence. Everyone around me was always like, ‘You could be a writer, you should write a book about your life, you could be a movie star,’ and I was just like, ‘You guys are crazy.'”
She added, “Like I definitely did not have the self-esteem to even see that for myself. I guess always saw myself in the art world in some way, but I had a very myopic view of what the art world meant.
“I definitely did not picture it being on this very large scale with the world as a stage.” She also recently opened up about her sex life and admitted she’s been celibate for two years.”
